• Gloss Lamination

Our HERMA Gloss Clear Overlamination Film is a permanent Emulsion Acrylic adhesive, giving an enhanced glossy appearance, whilst offering protection against surface moisture penetration, or abrasion. Printed colour 'pops up' and appears extra vibrant, bringing images to life and making it a favourite choice for most applications.

The Gloss overlamination film is suitable for indirect food contact. For more information about gloss lamination please see our spec sheet here.

  • Uncoated

We will not coat the paper material you have selected with anything if you select this option, this will ensure your labels remain safe for direct or indirect contact with food.

  • Gloss Varnish

We use gloss varnish to enhance the appearance of the surface, giving it a higher shineand also add a protective coating to your paper label.

Please note: If you varnish your paper labels they are only recommended for indirect contact with food NOT direct contact.

  • Matt Lamination

The HERMA Matte Clear Overlamination Film has a low surface sheen and luxurious feel. The overall look is more low-key than gloss (matt is a better choice for readability and barcode reliability). It is also possible to write onto with a pencil or ball point pen.

The Matt overlamination film is suitable for indirect food contact. For more information about matt lamination please see our spec sheet here.

  • Matt Varnish

Our matte varnish has little or no shine and is used to create the look of a more sophisticated, subtle label, aswell as reducing the inherent glare that may appear from the toners used and providing an extra protective coating to your paper label.

Please note: If you varnish your paper labels they are only recommended for indirect contact with food NOT direct contact.
